St. Mary’s Medical Center, San Francisco
Replacing the entire emergency power generation and distribution system at a busy hospital is difficult work. A project of this scope requires careful planning and execution in order to minimize disruption to the facility, patients, and staff. The management team at St. Mary’s Medical Center chose Blakeslee Electric, Inc. for this critical task, and for good reason.
Blakeslee Electric has been performing work in healthcare facilities for more than 20 years and has the unique skills required for a project of this type. As part of this eighteen-month project, Blakeslee Electric, Inc. will install two new 1500 kilowatt generators, 800 feet of 2500 amp power bus duct, and replace all of the emergency and normal power distribution switchgear.
Sutter Medical Center, Santa Rosa
After years of planning, design and public hearings Sutter Medical Center’s new $284 million-dollar state-of-the-art hospital opened. Sutter Medical Center provides a full range of award-winning care and services, including intensive care; emergency services; obstetrics, nursery care and level III neonatal intensive care; medical and surgical services; invasive cardiac surgery; supporting ancillary services; and a full range of women’s reproductive health services.
Sutter Medical Heart Lab
From groundbreaking to the final inspection, Blakeslee Electric, Inc. worked as a partner with Sutter Medical Center of Santa Rosa to develop this state of the art Heart Catheterization Lab and Imaging Facility.
Blakeslee Electric, Inc. is familiar with the installation requirements for most medical imaging and procedure equipment including Siemens, Phillips, and GE.
Loral Skynet
You are viewing an underground conduit bank that is part of a power and communication systems upgrade at the Loral Satellite Control Station in Northern California.
The project includes a 750 kW UPS system, new switchgear and a new 750 kW standby generator.
All of the work you see in these photos will be encased in concrete and then covered with soil, but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t look good before that happens.

San Francisco Marriott Hotel
We specialize in the design and turnkey installation of motor control and motor speed control systems. The above picture is a motor speed control system provided and installed by Blakeslee Electric, Inc.
Hyatt Regency SFO
Installing the 12 kV metering system Hyatt SFO was tricky business. All of the electric utility company equipment was replaced with customer owned equipment and 12 kV metering switchgear was added. Coordination on these projects is critical to minimize customer downtime.
Conetech
Conetech is the world leader in wine alcohol adjustment and flavor management and has also helped pioneer a whole new generation of lighter style wines.
When it was time to build their new head office and production facility in Santa Rosa, CA they chose Blakeslee Electric, Inc. to design and build the electrical, control and data systems.
Blakeslee Electric Inc. maintains a long-term relationship with Conetech and provides preventive maintenance services to keep the facility in top working condition.
